how difficult to understand is this, seriously

>Because it was tagged under CLAMP

And that is a problem because?

It’s fucking rude to tag hate

I don’t go into the CLAMP tag to read “fuck you, CLAMP” over and over

Then why not ignore it then? I mean you can obviously just skim through an obvious hate post.

And the OP is obviously capable of adding a Read More cut or avoiding tagging their bashing, but that ain’t happening either, is it?

I don’t like hateful posts in my series’ tags. CLAMP fandom especially is full of speshul snowflake asshole “fans” who feel the need to shit all over the tags and bash the series and characters and authors, and then complain when actual fans (you know, those who enjoy the things they bash) get mad at them for it. I hate the fucking toxic environment it creates, knowing that random people can go into the tag and see “FUCK YOU CLAMP FUCK THIS SERIES FUCK THIS CHARACTER” and think this is normal, common behaviour that the fandom embraces and accepts.

And, AGAIN, before you clutch at your pearls and scream about omg opinionz!!1, this is different from people who just flat-out don’t like them. I know a ton of people, friends of mine, who used to be fans of CLAMP and now aren’t, or who just don’t like them altogether, or who like some of their series and flat-out loathe others. But they don’t go into the fandom to shit on CLAMP and then expect asspats for it, or get outraged if it pisses someone off or something. They tag hate posts, if they make them. Or warn somehow. It’s just having some fucking manners, and consideration for others. A shocking concept, I know.

>I don’t want drama on my tags!

>Proceeds to create drama

This is what’s happening. So in an attempt to stop any form of shitstorm, you yourself created it. It’s simple, just ignore replies, it’s obviously bait.  Or is that really a difficult thing?

1.- That is not what I said

2.- I HAVE NOT BEEN TAGGING ANY OF THESE POSTS YOU FUCKING IDIOT. AT MOST I AM ANNOYING MY FOLLOWERS, THAT’S IT.

1.) Reread what you posted, that is basically the main idea of your post.

2.) Why can’t I hold all these ad hominem?

Ladies and gentlemen, the CLAMP fandom.

I said I didn’t want HATE in the tags, not drama. And you claimed I’m causing drama in the tags, which I am not because none of this is tagged so it wouldn’t show up.

So uh, maybe stop with the white-knighting and reread things yourself, first.

>Not “drama”

Why so upset then? You’re obviously going through lengths and being THIS mad. Drama when I see one.

Wow you are just fucking thick as a brick, aren’t you. The “not drama” meant I didn’t say “I don’t want drama”. Not that I wasn’t creating drama.

And I already explained that much, about the toxic environment speshul snowflake haters (not just the OP, this is a special brand of CLAMP “fan” that has been showing up a LOT in the past years) who insist on posting hate and bashing posts to the tags, not giving a fuck if other people actually enjoy the series/characters/etc and don’t care to be seeing hating posts. Note that I say hate posts/bashing posts, not ~*~ different opinions~*~ nor constructive criticism.

With something as simple as labelling hate as what it is, haters can hate all they want, and actual fans can skip those posts easily. We don’t get to deal with hate, haters don’t get to deal with fans getting pissed or upset. Everyone wins!

But no, obviously arguing about it for 40 posts is a much easier and constructive solution for it, sure.

>But no, obviously arguing about it for 40 posts is a much easier and constructive solution for it, sure.

And guess what? You can start by not replying! Or is it that hard?

Y’know I keep hoping, every-freaking-time that somehow, someday you’ll produce the awesome stuff like you did back in the day.

Blood-C: fuck you CLAMP and that ending

xxxHolic: fuck you CLAMP and that ending (I loved his manga to bits, but you ruined it… D:)

Tsubasa…

Granted this was just a rant, but allow me to further explain rant explain.

In all honesty I am a big fan of CLAMP, I mean I grew up to their shows, loved the heck out of CCS/X and most specially Chobits.

I loved the above three things I mentioned in my post during it’s early stages. Most especially Holic with it’s supernatural theme. If I’m not interested in a show or manga I WILL drop it since yes I don’t want to waste my time.

But the thing is, the premises and backgrounds and the plot of the shows and manga’s of the three above were so interesting and pulling that I wanted to see how it went. I saw how it went and didn’t like it. I never expected CLAMP to tie neat ribbon on their work, they like the air of mystery, sure I get that.

But the ending of Holic just crushed me because we were given some shit about an egg. I mean what’s up with that? And they weren’t even planning (at least to my knowledge) of making a sequel back then. We were left with Watanuki smoking a pipe awaiting Yuko’s return (and I’m fine if they just left it at that) But then they stuff in a mysterious egg for I dunno what reason.

Now Blood-C I pretty much stayed for 1. Watanuki bits 2. The gore. The early episodes of Blood-C were forgivable, and at least during then the killing of the Elder Barins was ok to me. But after awhile you get desensitized to violence to the point that it becomes laughable when people or demons die. The last episode had me laughing so hard that I couldn’t hate the show. It shows how the usage of gore as part of your story gets boring. The plot moves in an unforgiving pace and even when Saya’s friend (one of the twin) dies, she goes to school the next day “lalalalala What a nice weather today” it’s pure comedy that show, but I still wanted to know how it went since I’m a sucker for mysteries.

The last episode of blood-c didn’t resolve anything and we were told a movie was coming out for the show’s resolution. So of COURSE I wanted to find out how this was going to end.

I’ll admit I dropped TRC like a hot potato though so I can’t comment on that one.

Now, as to the tagging of my hate and the questioning of my life’s choices. I do think It’s incredibly unfair to spare a show of what you think. Most shows have people liveblogging what they think so of course there’ll be a variation of opinions and beliefs. I mean, when the latest episode of Psycho Pass came out (the current tag i really browse) everybody was posting how they felt about the show. Akane haters/lovers, and a lot of Urobutcher feels. So i honestly don’t see the big deal. (At least I’m not out hating on otp’s and ships)

Looking at my life and it’s choices, I do feel disappointed with Blood-C: The Last Dark. I wanted to enjoy it, I like Saya, but Fumito’s dead and we’re still pretty much left in the dark.  And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with expressing disappointment with something.

[Anyway, I feel like I’m going to go on a deeper rant about fandoms in general so imma stop here] I do apologize for making you feel so irritated with my post, wasn’t my beef of course.

Don’t really care about your fan credentials

I go into the CLAMP tag to find CLAMP things because I love CLAMP

If you’re going to make a post hating on them or their series, for whichever reason (you are perfectly entitled to not like them, that is NOT the problem), either don’t tag it, or have the common courtesy to place it under a cut (the “Read More…” thing) so it doesn’t slap me in the face when I go into the tag.

Also it’s not just you, far too many people tag bashing posts in this fandom and it’s really obnoxious. If that helps at all…

Go to any tag in tumblr and find that there’s always going to be posts of dissenting opinions. Although sometimes there can be such hostility in other tags when somebody expresses an unpopular opinion that it becomes horrifying. It’s just ridiculous at this point.

I understand that you love CLAMP and I got no qualms with that, but at the same time people shouldn’t get mad when people don’t share the same opinion. [And I really don’t think I was cluttering up the CLAMP tag at that point when I posted that.]

Hm, well I honestly didn’t think my post warranted a read more tag since the post looked short to me.

And whilst you simply brushed away my supposed fan credentials, it was simply for the purpose of trying to explain that in general I like CLAMP’s work. But just because I like CLAMP’s works doesn’t make them immune to me disliking some of the stuff they churn out.

You’re not understanding my point at all. I don’t care about your fan credentials because I don’t care if you like them or not but OMG this just one time you wanted to hate on them. It doesn’t matter. And I am not trying to forbid you from disliking those works, or CLAMP themselves. Go and hate them all you want! Buy all their manga and piss on it for all I care.

Just. Don’t. Tag. Your. Hate.

Even if others do it too, it doesn’t make it less annoying or frustrating to see. It’s not that difficult. If your post is basically nothing but bashing, even if it’s your ~*~ opinion ~*~, even if normally you totes do love CLAMP, simply don’t tag it as CLAMP, or at least put a Read More so when those of us who do like CLAMP go into the tag, we’re not slapped in the face with a hate post, or a bashing post.

You wouldn’t go to a puppy convention with a shirt that says “I fucking hate dogs” and then go all WOAH MAN IT’S JUST MY OPINION when angry owners cuddling their pups glare at you, would you?

Aiyaaahhh.

I think it’s a bad thing that you can’t address dislikes in a tag. Nobody owns the tag, so I do believe a person can address dislike/hate in a tag.

A tag ISN’T a puppy dog convention. You’re not going to find a discussion in a puppy dog convention as to why you shouldn’t get a pet. It’s a completely wrong analogy.

A tag is more like a place where people can talk about different things (which includes different opinions) about the thing you’re tagging and of course that DOES include negative replies.

If you get frustrated when somebody bashes something you like (if to you it seems like there’s an overwhelming pile of shitposting), well that isn’t my problem.

This is my main point on why I keep referring to my fan credentials (like really I even need fan credentials). I’m not being anal pained because “OMG this one time I just wanted to hate on them” I’m telling you these things because, HATE or DISLIKE in a tag ISN’T BAD and that you can’t police people who express negative feelings about a tag

What you’re doing (and what tumblr tags are guilty of) is being a circlejerk.

Bold out mine, because you should’ve just said that from the start and not ramble on with justifications. Simply say you don’t give a fuck if your bashing post pisses someone else off, it’s much more simple and I would not have bothered trying to point out, you know. simple common courtesy.

Hate in a tag where it can’t be avoided? Is a bad thing. It makes you an asshole, if you can’t simply avoid tagging it or merely slap on a simple cut to avoid all the hassle. But lol yeah sure circlejerking, whatever you say.

>Automatically label me an asshole who has no regards for the feelings of others. Cool ad hominem remark. :D

I’ll put this in conjuncture with your long post on your sarcastic reply on the things that make CLAMP shitty.

A good fan must always develop critical opinions about the quality they’re receiving, because if all they do is circle jerk on everything a developer or studio does, it often leads to poor quality work.

Think of it this way, you go into a restaurant and you order food. They give you this extravagant and very fanciful meal. You eat it, and it tastes like shit. Now, any normal person can clearly see that they’re being bs-ed by the establishment, but the others would promptly eat said shit and say “muy delicioso!”

A very simple way that you can have your ever so important need to shit on everyone else’s cereal and tag it because, god knows it’s more important for you to be able to take your shit rather than being polite or, you know, keeping in consideration that maybe the fans that do like this don’t want to read it (I know! How could someone not want to read your special brand of hate… heathens and peasants, all of us.)

When you put your tags, put a ‘Hatepost’ there. Or somewhere in the post. So that then Savior is able to block your shit from my cereal and then you can have your ever so important right to be able to get your ever so important opinions, the ones we obviously COULDN’T live without, and I don’t have to read them.

Or is that too hard, precious and special snowflake?

>That self entitlement

It’s like I’m actually witnessing a real-life circlejerk oh wow!

Self entitlement in which not wanting to be slapped on the face with hate over something I like rather than, IDK, not tagging it or, you know, using a cut because some jerk has the riiiiiight to tag their hate in case someone else wants to see it omg why can’t I understand their right?

Okay, I’ll be self entitled then. Your point?

When you put your tags, put a ‘Hatepost’ there. Or somewhere in the post. So that then Savior is able to block your shit from my cereal and then you can have your ever so important right to be able to get your ever so important opinions, the ones we obviously COULDN’T live without, and I don’t have to read them.

Or is that too hard, precious and special snowflake?

>That self entitlement

It’s like I’m actually witnessing a real-life circlejerk oh wow!

I'm just awesome like that: You've done it again CLAMP!

You’re the one who says you don’t give a damn if others are pissed at your hating and who would rather keep pissing people off than simply avoid typing five letters when posting OR using a cut which requires one simple click, so I think that’s one very well-deserved ad-hominem.

I think you missed the part where I pointed out flaws like pacing, terrible artwork at points, poor execution of the cool potential Rou had, and so on, but of course,a “good fan” must only focus on hating and calling things shitty. You can’t recognize flaws AND still like the thing you’re a fan of and think the good outnumbers the bad by far, nope. Thank god you’re here to enlighten me on how to be a GOOD fan, yay.
